Happo (Finnish for acid) began life a few years ago, when 2 friends - Frans & Samu - discovered something called GameMaker.

Eager to make games, and show off their skills, they decided to form a company - thus, \\\'Spirit Vortex\\\' was borne. Spirit Vortex produced several short-lived games, but they eventually realised that they were biting off more than they could chew, and ended up with a pile of unfinished projects.

They regrouped, and changed their name to \\\'Soulwhirl\\\'. Unfortunately, that didn\\\'t solve the problems. and the project soon died.

The friends had a brainstorming session, changed their name to Happo, and decided to concentrate on only one project at a time. Since then, they have successfully completed an adventure game, and are working on another one.
