I keep switching off from my different wallpaper that's in my Remodeling Kit. I use my Mac OS X inspired space and blue wave wallpaper, my green grass wallpaper, and a cool Super Mario Bros wallpaper.

Finally ditched my old "Windows meet's Mac" style. I instead went with something that feels like vista, but looks like XP.

Hey Giga
Take picture of your desktop by pressing Alt & Print Screen.
Open up a pain package (I use Paint), and paste the picture in there.
Save it to your desired location.
Now Reply to a post as normal.
Click on 'Browse' at lower right, and navigate to your picture.
Open the picture.
Manage Current Attachments should show 1.
Click on Manage Current Attachments, then click on the picture.
Click on Upload.
Your picture should be in inserted into your post.

Well, after discovering that my previous theme, was slowing down the computer, I decided to go back to basics. I wanted a Windows 98 look but more modern.

You know, I've tried tons of themes, and tons of visual apps. But believe it or not, I'm sticking with Windows Classic. It's speedy, clean, and very tweakable. I remember changing the color scheme back on Windows 98 when I was a wee boy. So I decided to change the colors of Windows Classic, to racing red and black to match my Gran Turismo wallpaper. The red car is my future preorder car, the 2002 Ferrari Enzo. You will also notice, that to clean up my desktop, and to not use a processor-hungry dock, I'm placing all my apps in the Quick Launch bar. It allows me to have a launch bar, without slowing down my comp. Speed all the way.

And nobody ever sees the order in it
Also, why do people use such gargantuan icons?

! Doubler has "The List"! It contains every secret known to man!
BTW: I use big icons because of my netbook's small 7" display.

Here's 'the list' in it's current form, but hush; top secret
Edit: it's outdated. I managed to get the original GTA not long ago

Wow - mine and Doubler's desktops seem to follow the same organisational pattern...
We've even got a lot of the same programmes and games installed - I've got Flashpoint, BF1942 and Audiosurf on my PC Laptop. Games like Mirror's Edge, I have for PS3.
You know about the Oblivion Online mod, Doubler? We've not gotten it to work yet. My Steam account is - Teh_Saccade if ever you fancy some L4D! My PS3 is The_Saccade, as you can't really make typo's with the controller
My laptop and Macbook, even though I've installed more ram in the mac, aren't the mutt's nuts, so I don't have background images to save memory. Or many icons.
They both have the same icon structure and many similar applications.
I have no idea where I got the backgrounds from...
I run my desktop on this PC at 1440 x 900, refreshing at 75Hz.
This is the image I've been using for a few months. Unless I have a *lot* of apps running, in which case I turn it off.
This is my alternate one, for if I have polite company round or need to blow out the cobwebs from the desktop:
And this image is the one that spawned my icon organisation method - called, "Natural Divide". That was probably what attracted me to it as, when I first built this PC it was supposed to be for work only; there was supposed to be a clear distinction..! Work apps with a few sandbox or puzzle games for breaks.
That lasted until I had the graphics card delivered and it came with some new games. I hadn't played a new new game in years and now I had a machine that could run three of them at once, no problem.

Hey Pete, could you upload that second wallpaper? I have been looking for something like that. Hacker style, but with a cool design.
