Each day, you wake up and get out of bed knowing that there is *crapola* waiting for you. Each day is a struggle, a battle and you must prepare for these battles, these wars. You have to be prepared. That is where the spirit of MANOWAR comes in. It is for everybody, both men and women, who have the fighting spirit. You either fight to win or your throw up your hands and admit that you are ******.
"The bigger a band gets, the more enemies you have.. even more, when you’re called Manowar, hahaha"
"Every musician who ever played with Manowar took an oath to do our best to bring our music to as many metal-fans as possible. I’m not kidding. We took that holy oath many years ago and set the seal on it with blood. And we won’t break the oath for any kind of *Canalis Analis*!"
I rest my case.
One of the more recent bands started to listen to have been Porcupine Tree, a great progressive rock band, from England, wouldn't say they are super famous as in say Rush, but are well known in the progressive rock community, if you like bands like Rush, Spocks Beard, even Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree is a stellar band to check out.

Iron Maiden was a favourite of mine when I was dunno, 12-13, and I still have great respect for them paving the way for other British Wave Of Heavy Metal bands. My fav albums were basically all up to and including Piece Of Mind. After that I thought they lost what I was looking for.
Other than that: I enjoy listening to lots of different music. Bands and artists I keep returning to are (among others): AC/DC (Bon Scott era), Ramones, Tom Waits, Otis Redding, *rooster* SParrer, The Business, Toy Dolls, Prince Buster (and Jamaican old school ska/rocksteady in general), Fliflet/Hamre Energiforsyning, Motorhead, The Partisans, Cockney Rejects, Giles Apap, Tom Lehrer, NoMeansNo, Frank Zappa, Sham 69, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, Little Richards, Black Sabbath, Robert Johnson (the old guy), John Lee Hooker (his early stuff), early Rolling Stones, early Beatles, The Exploited, Bakers Dozen (the Scottish Oi! band, not the other one), Yat Kha, Hedningarna, Turbonegro (actually, only their first two big albums, which are brilliant), The Dubliners (w/Luke Kelly), Django Reinhardt/Hot Club de France, Hot Club de Norvège, Robert Normann... and then my memory went dry
EDIT: the censoring thing is great
