Very much my thoughts Doubler. And I must underline one thing: believeability. If the character is supposed to be a somewhat natural man, I think it's only logical (=believeable) if he has natural limits. But, again: that's only me.

Correction to the weight thing, it's actually 80kg.
You can also change the max weight back if it bothers you too much. The jump height is also increased, which also can be changed back. But overall, it has made the game experience better, for me at least, and I'm waiting anxiously for the prequel.
edit; I'm also gonna "join" freedom, cos they said it would be fun.

i am surprised that none of the artifacts actually increases your strength...
Well i like the limitation and never really bothered me. Except maybe that food cans are a bit heavy. i mena some stuff we see there should be lighter in weight. i think that is causing the problem. Grenades, food cans - even medkits are quite heavy. considering they have to be there because otherwise you would realistically die after you took in a couple of shots. what fun would that be?
perhaps there could be more done on wounding the enemies. you know cripling them as they might cripple you. that way spray and pray would be more logical thing to do form time to time.
