Just a stupid question: why does the site only mention you can run the game in DOSBox? I thought Flight of the Amazon Queen was one of the first games to be fully adapted for ScummVM?
Will jump on it right now.

Very cool game, loved every minute of playing it, the story was really good, and the talkie version that I played really enhanced the game, one of the more longer adventure games that I've played and that's the way I like em.

Just to be sure... shouldn't you be trying to "make an entry" to save the game, not read one?
And you have to make an entry before any will appear when you try to read one.
I use DOSBox to run it, but the F1 journal interface is graphical, so not sure how the SCUMMVM version would be different.

Hmm, the ScummVM website mentions a sort of patch (queen.tbl) required to run copies of the game downloaded from other places. Have you tried that yet?
