You guys should try "The Punisher". :)
Is it my soul?
Is it that glimpse of light? I never forget to expect.
Or is it you? Some kind of angel.
That keeps me in waiting forever?

It's a about discussing, and in any discussion you're bound to get people with all kinds of points of view.  that includes liking violent games.

Actually the point wasn't whether it's possible to like them or not, it was whether you can consider them harmless just because you like them.

Well least we can agree that games have gotten a heck of a whole  more violent since the early days of gaming.

Yup and some of the earlier examples and I can imagine this next generation with the new systems one developer will push the limit on violence once again, making it even more realistic for us gamers.

Well... I've been playing "violent" games since I was in third grade... and I wouldn't kill someone, if I get angry... nor do I have unexplainable bursts of anger... and I am not violent... so yeah, if u want my oppinion about violence harming kids(that is graphic violence)... Nonsense!

I think parents that let their kids play games with graphic violence and sex content (like San Andreas)  should be shot.
May as well shoot yourself now then. :ok:

Each person is indiviual and should be treated as such. Ageism is as bad as racism. Such decisions should be made on a case by case basis by RESPONSIBLE parents. Problem is finding non retarded parents to take these decisions in the first place.

I think the point that was being getting out is the parents that let their 5 or 6 year old play a game like GTA San Andreas and don't even pay attention to their kids playing or even the content, these are the ones that really should get the blame for letting this happen, really parents should take a role in monitoring what their child play and especially when they are young, but likewise most adults then take the role of saying it's the game's fault! Rather than take responsibility themselves.

Sex is more offending. Although it does depend exactly how violent the game is.

How old should a child or adolecent be before making their choice of game?

Also even being 21, I don't like play any games including sex, only swearing, shooting and gore are my type of 'bad'.
