I remember playing this game before the summer. It was ok in my oppinion. What really got on my nerves was the people who play online are old veterans of quake and UT so I had no chance.
Yeah, I'm not into that Jump-shoot-jump kind of action. Well worth downloading though!

I'm one of those Unreal Tournament vets. I wasn't the greatest, but I was pretty decent usually could be in the top 4-5 in a large scale match, this game definitely brought me back, had a pretty easy time with this game though with the matches played, wasn't as crazy as UT was imo.

Waaaay off topic: What does imo mean? I've been wondering and can't figure it out..
on-topic: Yeah, when I was playing I was running around and when I saw someone else I got my brains splattered across the room, I couldn't even land a hit. I think I would do better now because I've been playing some quake/UT style games and I've learned how to aim in them(just have the crosshair near them somewhere ). I might give this a shot sometime. Right now I have a lot of work to do.

Beef did that on purpose.
Alien Arena 2007 isn't half bad. Tried it a while back, two races(teams), each has 3 or 4 classes which is pretty neat. Combine all that and put it in an Unreal Tournament or Quake type of arena and you get this. Not too hard either, it's a good one for getting into this sort of genre if you ask me.

Guessing that some have tried an earlier version of Alien Arena as 2007 has just come out in I believe it was September, so not too long ago actually, definitely depending on the map you visit it can be tough and or easy, some of the weapons are interesting and unique, but beware don't know why sometimes but certain maps put bots during these multiplayer matches.

Lot more servers now, was a lot to choose when I was playing.

There is team based deathmatch, but other than that, that's really the extent it's not like counter strike where you can improve your stats and such, gain money, more akin to like has been said earlier, Unreal Tournament and bits of Quake.
