*quietly curses the rubbishy online Finnish dictionary* Oh well, but there's more than one Finn, right??:P

"Heavy metal can't lose"?? I'm a bit puzzled by the suffix of the first word. It seems to indicate location, but I can't really work out what it's supposed to mean...:P

*cough* Oh well, I got the gist of it, right?

Actually I was pathetic enough to watch that contest thingy. Well, it was marginally less painful than writing an essay on lexicography, but it does strange things to your brain. *shakes head*

Actually you were correct in every way, except in this case the -llä ending meant "with". Good work, girl!

Both mine and my girlfriends' vote went to Lordi!
Maybe now we'll see a larger diversity among the different contributions in the future. At least I hope so. The generic eurovision song isn't appealing to me at all. Congratiulation Finland you earned it, seems like 66% of all voting swedes (according to a national newspaper) voted on you, hehe.   :P

I managed to come home (from seeing Paul Merton's Impro Chums, incidentally) in time to see Lordi at the end but miss all the rest of it, which worked out well :P They were indeed hilarious.

Strange. According to the grammar thingy I looked at, that would have been "hevin". It gives the -lla ending (which is the same, right?) as adessive, i.e. "at heavy metal you can't lose". Which didn't make sense to me. Oh well, you know what they say, Horatio: there's more things going on between Lapland and Åland than is dreamt of in your philosophy. Or something like that...:P
