Please use this thread to express an interest in submitting a banner, discuss ideas, post your work, etc. Offering advice or criticism is fine, but make sure to keep it constructive. *DO NOT* flame anyone's work.
Artists, please do not get angry when constructive criticism is offered. You may not agree with it, but it is nothing personal against you.
To submit a banner, it is preferable that you have some artistic or design experience, as well as experience with a graphic editing program (eg Photoshop, Gimp, Photo Suite, Paint.net etc).
GUIDELINES:
- Banners must be 170px high X 470px wide, and no greater than 40kb in filesize
- You do not have to use screens from the game you wish to make a banner for, but the resource pics you choose must capture the basic feeling of the game.
- Text must be as clear and readable as possible, but interesting text effects are welcome.
- You do not HAVE to use a catch phrase, but it is preferable, and must be appropriate to the game, and somewhat witty (Game name is required).
- Beyond that, you have creative license.
PROCESS:
- Check the Banner List to make sure the game does not already have a banner.
- To prevent having more than one person claim a game's banner, please post a topic here with your intent to make a banner.
So... get those creative juices flowing.
