What is the general rule concerning platforms on this site? Will the site accept reviews for games which are only supported on some platforms or will you take em all?
I'm asking since there are some games that are ONLY available on Linux, BSD, Mac OS etc. since these have a smaller crowd of followers that Windows I thought I should ask.
Example of games only supported on Unix based platforms would be:
Wormux
Pingus
Miniracer
There are loads more of them out there...

good question. if there's a demand for it i can't see why we wouldn't host games for linux/unix etc.

The site is about quality freeware, not quality Windows freeware...
Allthough most of the times the really good linux games get ported to win32 in the end... look at TuxRacer. It would be to cruel to keep this supergame from the M$ community... wheee look at that little fella slide

It's a really good question. Untill recently I wasn't aware that linux games could be run in wiindows (thanks Mdag ). Knowing that just makes this question all the more relevant (for me at least).
I'd like to know Kosta's opinion. Will we be seeing freeware games for other platforms than windows on AR?

They can only be run in Windows if they've been ported to do so, but as MdaG says that's pretty common for the better ones.

The question still stands, thoguh: Will AR be hosting non-windows games?

Feel free to keep suggesting them in the forum either way though, since if you post a link in there people who are interested can check them out.
