I'm really sorry if this is the wrong thread to post this but have been told by some of the guys from 'abandonia' that here is the best place to ask.

I have always loved Kings Bounty from my days on the C64, one of my all time favourite classics, and have heard rumours there's been fan remakes of this amazing game (Kings Bounty 2 and 3 - not the commercial releases).  I've done some searching and have found some info but nothing to prove if its true - screen shots, links, etc - is it true? Is there another Kings bounty I can play?

About King's Bounty - I did some digging on the internet, and all I can find for the non-commercial version, is this site that is working on a mobile-device version.  Is this the same one you have heard about?  There is an email address there, so you can contact them if you want.
