So, another year is upon us. It's 2009! So what games are you looking forward to this year, be it freeware or comercial?
Some games I am looking forward are:
Barn Runner 5 Chapter 3 - http://www.barnrunner.com/
I love the Barn Runner games. Prick Peckard is a lovable rogue - who could resist his charms? Scott LeGere has a knack for bringing Prick to life, and I can't wait to see what happens to him next, now that the clocks have started again.
Ben Jordan 8 - http://www.grundisla....com/benjordan/
Ben Jordan 7 left such a cliff-hanger. How will Grundy continue the story in the next Ben Jordan game? And BJ8 is the last Ben Jordan game. What will happen to our favourite paranormal detective?
Kingdom O Magic Remake - http://www.bigbluecu...p?topic=35563.0
I love the original version, but it doesn't work under Vista. Thankfully, Revonx is remaking this wonderful game. You can download demo for it now, and I'm very much looking forward to the full game.

Using this list posted on AB. No reason to do this again
Let's see...
-Empire: Total War
-the new Anno may be good
-Cities XL (now that SimCity has forsaken us )
-Grand Ages Rome could be nice
-Star Trek Supremacy (I played BotF way too much )
-the three SoaSE mini-expansions
-Gobliiins 4
-Drakensang
-City of Abandoned Ships
-Age of Decadence
-The Tomorrow War
-Subversion
-Crayon Physics Deluxe
-Braid, Limbo
-Mafia 2
-White Gold
-Precursors
-OFP2
-ArmA2
-Dragon Age
-Metro 2033
-Mirror's Edge
-Alpha Protocol
-Risen
-Borderlands
-Arcania
-Deus Ex 3 (please don't mess it up)
-Soviet Assault
Plenty to keep an eye on
This is going to sound very awkward, but I'm also curious about Love
Perhaps it will be the first MMOG to... actually be enjoyable?

Furthermore, it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed.

So, who else is looking forward to games this year.
Bit late, but I'll list the games I was looking forward to and my experience with them since. Only a few were released in 2009 though.
Gears of War 2: Fun game in coop, but I don't really see what's causing all this hype.
Resident Evil 5: Great game in coop, but sucks as a horror game compared to Dead Space.
Rock Band 2: Best game ever! I've probably downed 100 hours into it so far and I keep coming back for more even though my hands are now blistering from all that drumming and strumming.
GTA - Chinatown Wars: About three hours into it and so far a REAL disappointment. This is above mediocre, but that's about it.
Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow: A perfect platform game. Only Mario can challenge this jewel.
Advanced Wars - Dark Conflict: I haven't had this much fun with a strategy game since Battle Isle on the Amiga. Sweet!
Mirror's Edge: The game is stunning and pushes forth a new genre (First Person Platformer). Unfortunately the fun factor only lasts for around 30 minutes at a time. After that I'm bored.
Rainbow Six - Vegas 2: Best controls I've ever had in a FPS, but the respawning of you coop friend makes the campaign painfully easy. This game would've been so much better had you partner not respawned when killed. The Gears of War approach would've worked much better.
Now to find a good reason to justify a ION drumset.

So you want another reason?
Okay, um... *thinks*... It's good therapy. You can bang out all your frustrations on the drums.

Nah, I think I'll postpone the "investment". The price in Sweden is almost €350 and I already have a drum kit.
Thanks for trying.
