Star Wars music, sound effects Great concept Want to relive all the excitement and action from Star Wars? How about that awesome battle of Endor? You know the one if you are a Star Wars fan. Well now, you can relieve that classic battle in this title where you take on the role of an x-wing pilot during that particular battle from that perspective. Facing off against the empire and its new death star leering at you, are you up for the challenge? Story wise if you know about the story from Return of the Jedi you know what's going on, the rebel alliance has warped into the planetary system of Endor, because that is where the Empire is building their second Death Star at the moment. The rebel alliance knows it must destroy this massive weapon before it can be unleashed upon the galaxy, but that is when it all begins to unfold. I will not reveal any more as you have to play for yourself to see what's in store. Game play is fairly easy to pick up and play in this title. You basically fly in a first person perspective from your x-wing, similar in style to such games as wing commander. You have your lasers and your proton torpedoes and of course, you have your flying skills as well. You can speed up and slow down your ship as well to outmaneuver those tie fighters that are attacking you and your friends. Flying in game as you face down the many enemies from the tie fighters, to the large star destroyers, it is a real rush as you try your hand to stop the empire. It is not easy but you have your allies along to help in the fight. Of course, it cannot be a Star Wars game without the music and sound effects and thankfully, they are present. From the intro's scrolling marquee upwards, to the familiar blaster fire you hear, it's all there. It was good to see that attention especially in that area was maintained. Graphically though the game falls a bit short, as some of the ships you see are pretty bland and not that great looking, kind of disappointing but it doesn't take away from the actual game experience. Still if your looking for a good action packed game, look no further than this one. It's called Star Wars: The Battle of Endor, check it out. Review by: DeathDude
